"And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all as any had need" -Acts 2:45


"It's all gonna burn" is the one thing that keeps flashing into my mind. What are possessions, and why are they so important to us? Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not lay up yourselves treasures on teh earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where you treasure is, there your  heart will be also" In Acts 2:45, I see the fullness of the Lord. When we have Him, nothing else matters. Our earthly possessions mean absolutely nothing compared to our treasures in Heaven. These people knew where their heart was. This makes me ask the question "Where is my heart?"

Today Iw ill spend less time getting ready, and caring about the outward appearance, and spend that time in the word.
