"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" Mark 8:36

Gaining the whole world. What does this world have to offer Sex, drugs, and rock and roll? Are these things more important to us than eternity? Colossians 3:5 says "Put to death therefore what is earthly in your: sexual immortality, impurity, passion, evil desire and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account for these the wrath of God is coming." Am I willing to lay down my soul for my carnal desires and willingly suffer God's judgment? No way. The things of this world hold no value compared to the promise I have in the Lord.

I will memorize Romans 6:14, so that every time I struggle with my carnal desires, I will remember this verse.
